ICML is the leading international machine learning conference and is supported by the International Machine Learning Society (IMLS).

The 34th International Conference on Machine Learning (ICML 2017) will be held in Sydney, Australia, starting on Sunday, August 6th until Friday, August 11th, 2017.

ICML is co-located in Sydney with UAI (Aug 11 - 15, 2017).

IJCAI is in Melbourne (Aug 19-25, 2017).

Limitations on International Travel:

The International Conference on Machine Learning and the International Machine Learning Society are committed to the open international exchange of information, which is critical to the continuing advance of scientific knowledge. The policies of many countries can make it difficult for researchers to attend scientific meetings.

The 2017 ICML Conference is scheduled to take place in Sydney, Australia on August 6-11.  In the event that no author of an accepted paper can attend due to visa restrictions, we will find ways for authors to present their results via the internet.

Our goal is to open ICML conferences and workshops to researchers from all parts of the world and we regret that government restrictions may make it difficult or impossible for some to participate this year.
